Grace Austin
Grace Austin is from Eupora, MS. She is a Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology with a passion for exploring creativity, motivation, and gifted education, with a particular focus on Black giftedness. Her research interests include how creativity develops in informal learning spaces, the role of culture in shaping educational experiences, and ways to better support underrepresented students in education.
Beyond her research, Grace enjoys sharing knowledge in creative and engaging ways. She teaches Sunday School, loves reading, journaling, dancing, and drawing, and often looks for ways to connect her academic work with her hobbies and community involvement. Whether through teaching or writing, she is committed to inspiring others to see learning as an unstoppable journey of discovery.
