Leila Kargaripadar is from Iran and a Ph.D. student in Educational Psychology at Mississippi State University. She also has over a decade of experience as a clinical psychologist, specializing in children’s mental health disorders.

Her research interests center on problem solving, creativity, motivation, and the ways culture shapes both education and therapy. She is particularly interested in exploring how people from diverse backgrounds approach learning and decision-making, and how these perspectives can enrich psychology and education.

Outside of academics, Leila enjoys reading, traveling, watching thought-provoking films and series, cooking, learning new languages, and playing board games with family and friends.
