Sareh Karami is an associate professor of Educational Psychology at Mississippi State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from Purdue University, a master’s in education from the University of British Columbia, and bachelor's and master’s degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Tehran. Prior to her doctoral studies, she served for over a decade as the head of research and extracurricular programs in Iran’s national gifted school system.

Sareh has developed two original theories of wisdom: the Iranian Hierarchical Wisdom Model and the Polyhedron Wisdom Model. She has published extensively on creativity, wisdom, and intelligence, with her work cited nearly 1,000 times. She is the co-editor of Intelligence, Creativity, and Wisdom: Exploring their Connections and Distinctions and The Palgrave Handbook of Transformational Giftedness for Education. Her research includes influential articles such as “An 8P Theoretical Framework for Understanding Creativity and Theories of Creativity” and “What is Wisdom? A Unified 6P Framework.”

Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Mensa Award for Excellence in Research, the Herb Handly Research Award from Mississippi State University, Purdue’s John Feldhusen Fellowship, and multiple honors from the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC).

Sareh is also an international speaker, regularly invited to give lectures and keynote talks on promoting positive and transformational creativity across cultural and educational contexts.
