Seger McGuire

Seger McGuire is an Educational Psychology Ph.D. student at Mississippi State University. A Union, MS native, Seger works as a Graduate Assistant for Dr. Sareh Karami. Her research interests include creativity, rural education opportunities, artificial intelligence, and STEAM education.

Seger is also the Director of Operations for the Global Teaching Project, a non-profit organization that partners with rural Mississippi high schools that offer AP STEM courses. In her role, she collaborates with students, teachers, and STEM content experts to provide resources to these schools.

She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, gaming, crafting, and playing with her dog.
